Dr. K. Madhava Kotagiri is a highly experienced General and Laparoscopic Surgeon with over four decades of distinguished service in clinical practice, medical education, and healthcare leadership. A graduate of Sri Venkateswara Medical College, Tirupati, where he secured University First in Surgery, he further specialized with an MS in General Surgery from Poona University.
He has served in prestigious institutions including AIIMS, the Armed Forces Medical Services, and leading corporate hospitals in Hyderabad. With extensive expertise in surgical gastroenterology and minimally invasive (laparoscopic) surgery, he has held key roles such as Director of Surgery at Mediciti Hospitals, contributing significantly to advanced surgical care.
In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Madhava has been deeply committed to medical education, mentoring undergraduate and postgraduate (DNB) students for over two decades.
Beyond medicine, he has made notable contributions in the social and spiritual domains. As President of Sahaj Seva Samsthan for over 30 years, he has supported initiatives in education, healthcare, and rehabilitation, including institutions for children with special needs. He is also a founding member of the Institute of Sri Ram Chandra Consciousness and an active trainer in Raja Yoga meditation, conducting workshops and guiding individuals toward holistic well-being.
